HOW TO GUESS
Only available in TOH-TOR
Only available in TOH-TOR
Guessers were added in the TOH TOR v0.8 update.
Guessers can be impostors (assassins), crewmates (vigilantes), or neutral (pirates). The Guessers can kill you in a meeting if they guess your role correctly. If they guess a role incorrectly, the Guesser dies in the meeting. For example, if they see you vent during the game, they might know you're an engineer or a terrorist. Or, if you reveal your role during a meeting to "save" yourself, you might end up dying anyways to a guesser. Of course, anyone could be baiting a false role reveal to try guessing them, and therefore, the guesser dies. The crewmate vigilante can guess impostor roles and neutral roles, which is useful when someone is Mare, or you know there is a TimeThief or simply an Assassin, but Puppeteer can also be recognized easily.
You can kill people who made their role obvious! Follow the guide below on how to do that.
You can only guess during a meeting by using a specific command (and of course when you have a guessing role).
Use /shoot show to get a list of Role ID-s and player ID-s. Find the player name you want to guess and remember their ID (this will be "playerID"). Now, find the role you want to guess them as, and remember that ID too (this will be "roleID").
Once you got both ID-s, enter the following command in the chat: /shoot <playedID> <roleID> (replace "<playerID>" with the player's ID, and replace "<roleID>" with the role's ID)
Hit enter and watch the magic happen. You will not see the player dead, only after the meeting, when they will appear as an unreportable dead body at the meeting table. Only the Host can see players die in meetings visually, other players get a message like this: <playername> is killed by Guesser.
The Hide Command setting (which can be found under Assassin, Vigilante, and Pirate) displays 19 empty (dotted) messages after a command starting with "/shoot" to block other players from seeing who typed the command. However, this can be very annoying, so it is recommended to keep this setting OFF until the developers find a better way.
