My name is Natalia Heibo (Prasol), and I am an artist from Ukraine.
Creativity has always played an important role in my life. Art is my way of expressing emotions, thoughts, and life experiences.
I work in a variety of techniques and styles, including ceramics, 3D painting, oil and acrylic painting, as well as fluid art using pouring techniques and epoxy resin.
In 1988, I graduated from art school in Ukraine. I then attended college, where I studied painting and ceramics. After completing my studies, I worked for more than 30 years at a large ceramics factory, creating handmade floor vases that were sold all over the world.
After moving to Ireland, I returned to art and began creating paintings. Art became a source of inner strength and peace for me. It helped me cope with the pain and emotional difficulties caused by war and forced displacement.
I am now delighted to be taking part in the Kilkenny Arts Festival for the fourth time. It is a great joy and honour for me to share my art with others.
Each of my works is filled with light, love, and hope — feelings that I try to express through my art. I believe that in each of my works, everyone can find something of their own — something that resonates in their heart and gives them a special feeling.
