ZeroWaste Project was part of the AIA Competition submission process for True North International School which we are proud to have contributed to the Runner-Up prize that was given to TNIS
In January, a workshop was dedicated for SS/HS at True North International School while a workshop for PS was hosted in March for PS.
ZeroWaste Project lauched a campaign with volunteers spreading messages to reduce food waste in cafeteria which show some significant result
After a month of spreading information throughout True North International School campuses, ZeroWaste witnessed a significant reduction in total food waste in a week and average per day for that week. The result was a 36% decrease in average weight per day in the first week to the last week of the campaign with more than a 50kg decrease in total weight for food waste. This effort also stems from the education given to students and staff as well as to kitchen staff in communication with student to serve the food that students eat rather taking food that students do not eat at all and throw it away.
