ZeroWaste Project is proud to be one of 33 finalists out of 7,761 applicants from 173 countries for the Zayed Sustainability Prize, representing True North International School in the Global High School Category for East Asia & Pacific. In January, we will travel to Abu Dhabi to attend the Award Ceremony and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), connect with sustainability leaders, and explore ways to make an even bigger impact in our community.

ZeroWaste Project has become one of the members of the K-12 Food Rescue family, with our leader, Nghia Luu, becoming one of the student food waste leaders of the organization. Also, Nghia Luu appeared on one of the episodes of the K-12 Food Rescue podcast on Spotify to share the story of the ZeroWaste Project and the success we have brought to the community
ZeroWaste Project, representing True North International School, contributed to the school’s success in the AIA Healthiest School Competition. As a result, TNIS was awarded the Runner-Up in AY 2023–24 and a Consolation Prize in AY 2024–25, receiving a total of 6,000 USD in prizes for the school's facility upgrades and development of students' healthy lifestyle.
ZeroWaste Project is honored to be recognized by Viet Nam News, the National English daily newspaper, in an article highlighting the project’s achievements over the past three years, including its selection as a finalist for the Zayed Sustainability Prize.
