In Unit 2 I created, a mind map using diagrams.net (draw.io) to organize ideas visually. This assignment also helped me understand the difference between working files (editable) and deliverable files (final/shareable). Overall, it showed me how planning and file formats matter when creating and submitting digital projects.
A mind map is a powerful brainstorming tool because it helps you visually structure ideas in a way that supports analysis and memory. I learned that a working file is the version you save so you can keep editing later (like the editable diagrams.net file), while a deliverable file is the final version you export to share or submit (like a PNG or PDF).
The biggest difference is that saving keeps it editable, but exporting turns it into a format other people can open easily. If you only save the working file, other people may not be able to view it, and if you only export the deliverable, you may not be able to edit it later. This unit helped me see that knowing when to save vs. export is an important digital literacy skill I will use in school and at work.
