MEDIPOL UNIVERSITY

Istanbul Medipol University is a foundation university that was established in 2009. From different areas, it contains different degree programs. University has two campuses in Kavacık which is the name of one of Istanbul's great districts. Medipol University is mostly known for its medical strength and technological devices. The university consists of 12 different faculties and there are 37.051 registered students studying at the university. The university has 71 undergraduate programs in 13 faculties. Twenty-four of these programs are taught in English. Medipol university takes a role on erasmus+ projects. University has different partner universities. Most known departments are Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing.

SAPIENZA UNIVERSITY OF ROME

The Sapienza University of Rome (also called simply Sapienza) is a university in Italy. It is a public research university located in Rome. It is one of the largest European universities by enrollment and one of the oldest in history, founded in 1303. As of the 2016 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), Sapienza is positioned within the 151–200 group of universities and among the top 3% of universities in the world. The Sapienza University of Rome has eleven faculties and 65 departments. There are 112,564 registered students studying at the university. It offers 10 Master's Programmes taught entirely in English. Sapienza University has 2 projects related to the gender equality area and green economy in africa.

PROJECT 1

VIRAGE’ (VISUALISING AND MEASURING THE ROLE OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS IN ADDRESSING GENDER EQUALITY) project. Some members (Aloè, Corsi, Zacchia) are involved in the EC project 'VIRAGE', in collaboration with CEPS (Bruxelles), Universities of Leuven (Belgium) and Gothenburg (Sweden), and the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland). Activities will be carried out in the period 2021-2022 (24 months).

PROJECT 2

'DALILA' (Development of new academic curricula on sustainable energies and green economy in Africa) Erasmus+ project. Some members (Corsi, Zacchia) are involved in the project 'DALILA', in the context of the programme EPPKA2 - Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices). Activities will be carried out in the period 2020-2022 (36 months).

SOUTH-WEST UNIVERSITY NEOFTI RILSKI

South-West University Neofti Rilski is a university in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. It was founded in 1975. The university is divided into seven faculties and one college which are law and history, economics, pedagogy, art, mathematics, natural science, philosophy, philology, and college of technical science. There are 12,579 registered students studying at the university. The BalkanMed Monitoring Committee approved 44 Projects for funding. Most known projects are AGROLABS, AIRTHINGS, BALKANET, BIOPROSPECT, priorities axis; environment entrepreneurship and innovation. They have partnerships with Turkey, Greece and most of the Balkan Universities.

UNIVERSITY OF AVEIRO

The University of Aveiro (Portuguese: Universidade de Aveiro) is a public university, in addition to providing polytechnic education, located in the Portuguese city of Aveiro. Founded in 1973. The main campus and nearby Administration and Accounting Institute, are located in the city center of Aveiro. It has a student population of approximately 12,500, distributed among 58 graduates, 40 Masters of Science, and 25 Ph.D. programs, distributed by departments and autonomous sections, with specialized faculties. It is a Research & Development university, with research departments developing programs in fundamental and applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, telecommunications, robotics, bioinformatics, sea sciences, materials, design, business administration, and industrial engineering. University takes a role on different projects and researches. Research topics are mostly about; Marine life, robotics, civil engineering etc. the timeline of the projects is limited; it is not similar to Neofiti University and Sapienza
