The purpose of this Contextual Factors paper was provide and explain important and proper information about the school that I teaching at and how important it is to know and understand what your school has to offer and understand your school's information. I shared my experiences St. John's School and it has impacted me so much as a future educator. I have learned more about classroom behaviors as well as different tools that could make learning fun and successful for my future students. This paper provides what the school has to offer so that it could help each teacher and classroom effective and successful. This paper will give you lots of information about my school as well as what we provide for our students so that they can be successful and involved with our school.
This paper connects with performance indicator 8B which states "the competent teacher understands the collaborative process and the skills necessary to initiate and carry out that process". It connects well with this standard because we had to collaborate as a staff in order to design our schools qualities in a way we all agreed upon. We had to discuss many factors that played a role in what we have to offer i in our own classes. Collaboration is what enabled our school and what we provide to be successful.
I believe this assignment has taught me a lot about collaboration as well as the importance of structure. Our school and staff has involved lots of hard work, but wasn't able to be completed without the guidance of all group members. We all put it in the time and effort to make our school presentable, and also made sure we shared real experiences so that others could possibly learn from what he had experienced with teaching. Being able to work with others is so important and can play such a big role with how successful something can be.
The purpose of this lesson plan was to collaborate with my co-teacher about how our recent teaching placement went, and then share and create a lesson plan. Here is a Contextual Factors paper that I wrote regarding our school's learning environment and important information about my school and what our school has to offer.
This contextual factors paper help structures a safe and healthy learning environment that facilitates cultural and linguistic responsiveness, emotional well-being, self-efficacy, positive social interaction, mutual respect, active engagement, academic risk-taking, self-motivation, and personal goal-setting. This contextual factors paper a way to categorize the outside effects of my school, are attributes of the community, the students, and the school itself that may affect the process of teaching and learning. Teaching and learning can be positively or negatively affective by the world beyond the classroom. So it is important that families, parents, students, and school staff are knowledgable of what the school has to offer.
