The competent teacher differentiates instruction by using a variety of strategies that support critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, and continuous growth and learning. This teacher understands that the classroom is a dynamic environment requiring ongoing modification of instruction to enhance learning for each student.
Here is a Powerpoint I created providing the the PE lesson plans for the different units that my students will be learning and performing.
Here is a video that I used to show my students when teaching them the Pickle ball Unit! Check it out!
My Powerpoint lesson plan instruction is an instructional strategy that delivers instructional content, usually outside of the classroom. My Powerpoint contains a the different sports that my students will be playing and also shows on different slides important information and rules regarding the sports that my students will be performing. This is taught with all age levels that I teach so the content isn't too complex. This Powerpoint was created to teach kids the importance of the each sports and provides them a visual method to help them learn and understand. Visual learners are in need to see for themselves what they will be learning and performing so this is an easy method for both me and my students.
Standard 5L states "the competent teacher develops a variety of clear, accurate presentations and representations of concepts, using alternative explanations to assist students’ understanding and presenting diverse perspectives to encourage critical and creative thinking". This correlates to my project because at the end of my lesson, I assign the students to apply their knowledge in the practice activities that I provide for them in class. The students are asked to perform different practices and performances to learn what they were taught and to apply what they know. This gives them a chance to use their creative thinking and also help them understand the content by relating it to something they might understand better. Standard 5N states "uses technology to accomplish differentiated instructional objectives that enhance learning for each student". I believe this relates to my Powerpoint because the students will be using technology to watch different sport videos and gain knowledge by learning the content and showing their understanding by completing the tasks and activities given in class that the students are asked to perform.
My assignment taught my students to learn in different ways and to try to understand a new sport with using visual aids. It is very beneficial for my students so that they can see what they will be performing and it helps them get a better understanding. They were given a Powerpoint and then were given the opportunity to apply what they were taught into the activities that I provided for them. This allowed the students to learn the content, go over examples and demonstrations, come up with their own thoughts, and then try it out for themselves. I believe students learned a very important content that will be used as they excel more in their learning.
Here are some videos that I was able to show my kids in class so that they can learn in a visual way and applying technology so that the kids can learn in different ways. This helps students being able to learn by watching and then being asked to apply it in their performance.
My Powerpoint that highlighted the motor skills and introductory activities is an instructional strategy that delivers instructional content that I was able to apply and perform in my classroom. My Powerpoint contains a the different introductory activities especially for my preschool and kindergarten class that they will be performing. This is taught with all age levels that I teach so the content isn't too complex. This Powerpoint was created to teach kids the importance of the motor and non-motor skills which also provides them a visual method to help them learn and understand. Especially at a younger age, the kids need to learn fundamental skills like, walking, running, skipping, twisting, and different important movement methods. I was able to teach some of these activities to my younger students which is very important for them to achieve as they start to grow and build up strength and other movements. Visual learners are in need to see for themselves what they will be learning and performing so this is an easy method for both me and my students. This is by be showing and demonstrating to the students what they will be performing.

By this, it helps them gain knowledge by learning the content and showing their understanding by completing the tasks and activities given in class that the students are asked to perform.
