The Tiger Creek Owners Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization of Tiger Creek Forest property owners. All property owners, in good standing, are members. Annual dues are paid by each property owner to the Association for the operating expenses of Tiger Creek Forest.

About Tiger Creek Forest

Tiger Creek Forest is a deed restricted community consisting of 1,570 acres of unspoiled woodlands which borders the Tiger Creek Nature Conservancy. Eleven Miles of dirt roads wind through the community past homes located on five or more acres of land. Wildlife abounds with regular sightings of deer, turkeys, fox, bobcats, raccoons, gopher tortoises and yes, snakes. Occasionally a wandering black bear has been seen. Many species of birds also call our forest home such as red shouldered hawk, red tailed hawk, barn owls, great horned owls, screech owls, etc.

Our deed restrictions state that "no more than 60% of any tract may be cleared or partially cleared and that no living tree larger than 7 inches in diameter at a point 4 1/2 feet above the natural ground level may be removed on any part of the tract, unless same shall interfere with the location of a building, utility line or other structure".

This land is unique as it is part of the Lake Wales Ridge which in ancient times was the only part of the Florida peninsula that was not under the ocean. Today, many of the plants and animals living in this area are found nowhere else in the world.
