Children's book "The Theatrical Boot" by Judith Leverone

Judith Leverone's children's book "The Theatrical Boot", with illustrations by Brixton Doyle, is a tale of perseverance and hope when it seems none is available. It is a tender tale of a wayward, little boot’s brave determination to remain in the bright, glittering world of Broadway that he loves, despite challenges thrown in his way.

Judith, Thom Christopher's late wife, wrote this as a short story in 1946 at the age of fifteen. After her death it was found and edited by Thom into a 36 page children's book. It is available at Amazon.com (also Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de etc. for those outside the USA).
