At one time all these neighboring quarries were owned by the Jackson Bangor Slate Company .

To activate the 3-D option click on the arrow in the center of the view below. Once the screen is activated you will be able to enter full screen mode by clicking on the FULL SCREEN icon located in the lower right corner of the viewer. To escape the full screen mode hit the ESC button on your keyboard or hit the X in the top right corner to close the window. The activated view will offer numbered icons that can each be clicked to see information about that location.
