The Siran Fox *NEW* Line

Less is more right? Well that was the thought and plan when the creation of "Siran" came about.

With all the crazy breeders out there striving for more and more genes on their Shedu cats, the breeders of the Siran Project, felt they would go with a different direction. Pulling their best efforts and cleanest genetics they were able to produce "Siran" a flashy, but simple stud with a look that stood out as one of a kind, yet still, elegantly sweet in simplicity.

Sporting large ears, an over fluffy tail, and a sleek yet plush neck that was void of the classic mane often seen in the Shedus of the world, Siran provides a new feel on an old look. Changing the face of Fenghuang Asian Shedus to a more fox like physic with the agility, surefootedness and body conformation to make them ideal for mounted hunts, agility events, cross country survival trecks and more.

Though, with their over large tail, they are slowed down, often having to use extra energy to keep their tail aloft, Siran lined cats are often slower in a flat race, but don't let that tail fool you, they do just fine in timed agility, for the short sprints, leaps and bounds are ideal for this fox like cat.

Pronounced: Sigh-Ran

Siran himself was in an accident when he was around 4 months old where he had his right eye and ear damaged. This damage helped develop some of the choices when considering penalties of other Shedus, as Siran continued to impress even though he became progressively deaf in his right ear, and his right eye was deemed fully blind by the time he was 2 years of age.

Base Information

Simple, Classic, and a little spotty. The desired look of the Siran line sports large standing ears, medium to smaller sized paws, a longer muzzle, no mane, though a plush neck is ideal. Tail should be large and plush, ideal for curling up with during the freezing winters. Body should be tall, and lean, though short in back and rather compact in appearance with fur. Tuck should be well defined with a straight back. Eyes should be light in color, and reflect nicely against the base coat.
