The White live in an abandoned humantype store, still stocked with some items that they utilize to build their dens. They're typically blanketed nests, using vines from Nature using cats to intertwine the blankets together, specifically to create things like curtains and dividers. The Mirrors take the backroom of the store, where the manager may have once been, for their stores and the sick room, putting anything they may need on shelves high above the sick cats. The Face sleeps on the roof of the store, using old dog crates and blankets to keep safe. The nursery and victors' dens are connected, being behind the counter where humantypes would've once stood to take money from customers. The suit and pip dens are in their own nooks of the store, covered by shelves and blankets.
White Parting River: The Parting River itself is a huge expanse of water, separating the cats of the Decks from The Other Side, a place they seem to struggle to ever reach. The White's side of the river is very grainy and full of swampy marsh-type land. It can be very unpleasant to walk through.
The Floodplains: A wide section of land sloping down toward The Parting River. The earth here is soft, tilled by the flood seasons, and most of the plants that grow here are tall and resistant to the flooding, such as water reeds and tall grasses.
The White Forest: A very life-filled forest, with very little dead brush and trees inside of it. The sun shines through it easily, and hunting is made relatively easy. In the middle of the forest is a single, tall tree, with spiraling dead branches circling the tree. Though it seems to be dying, it's reaching over the other trees in the forest, winning over some of their sunlight.
Grave of the Forgotten: Ages of humantype lives have been through this area, and the stones that mark their resting spots have withstood the test of time. No one comes to visit here anymore, and the gravestones have been left behind, forgotten by those they were once planted by. The earth here is dark, and an ever-present fog hangs over the land, almost a sign of the spirits that may still remain.
The Abandoned Nest: As humantypes lived here ages ago, they left behind their nest when they left. The nest is full of huge dens, all of which still contain mementos from the people that were once making their home here. There's a lot here to explore still, and a lot for cats to discover, hidden in the abandoned dens. The dens themselves are dangerous though, as predators may lurk in the shadows, and the rotted wood and washed away stones may prove to be precarious for cats to walk through.
The Red live on an island somewhat disconnected from the rest of the Plain, inside of a cleared out quarry from long ago. The quarry travels far into the ground, ending with a small pool at the bottom that sparkles with fresh rainwater and cavern water. A small waterfall from the nearby creek pours into the quarry at all times, which covers up the Face den, as well as the nursery. The Face den is connected to the suits', due to the way the Red live--very connected to each other as a big family. The suits den is the first one a cat might see when they enter the camp, and the pips' den is across from that. The victors den is to the left of the Face den, and the Mirrors' den is just to the left of that. The den is more like a small cavern, with branching paths for different sick areas and for the Mirrors' own area to live.
Leftover Stumps: A forest of cut stumps, left over from loggers that once were active in the area. They spread for a while, and in between stumps, there'll occasionally be brush and short, young trees--not much more than this, however.
The Red Hill: A tall hill that has a single tree situated at the top--medium sized, full of dead branches, and generally decayed looking. Only a bit of life seems to be left in it.
Red Bitter Stream: A stream with murky, brackish water flowing through it. The water here tastes bitter, and is most definitely unhealthy for cats to drink, should they be unable to separate clean water from it using elemental powers. It's mostly just a generic lakeside, with nothing much more of note.
The Wreck: An old, forgotten shipwreck from many ages ago, left behind by the humans (and human adjacents) that roam this land. It's decrepit at this point, moldy and deteriorated from ages of floods washing over it, but not to the point where it's completely destroyed. Sometimes, despite how many times it's been explored, cats will still find interesting treasures and secrets hidden in The Wreck...
Red Parting River: The Parting River itself is a huge expanse of water, separating the cats of the Decks from The Other Side, a place they seem to struggle to ever reach. The Red's side of the river is much more rocky than normal lakeside, and can be somewhat difficult to traverse without ever slipping and falling.
The Black live in a dense forest, surrounded by nature on all sides. Their dens are in a clearing in the forest, put together by weaving leaves and vines through bushes and little dug out patches in the ground. The Face den is built by weaving nature together around a tree and creating something of a huge, covered hammock. The suit, pip, and victors' dens are made normally on the ground with nature-weaving, with the victors' den being more plush and comfortable for the elders. The nursery and Mirror den are close by each other, and the nursery is surrounded by thorny brambles that the cats can easily find their way around, but an intruder might not. The Mirror den is split and divided by different bushes, with the actual Mirror room connected to the base of a tree, where a small puddle of rainwater tends to gather.
Lake of Hunger: A seemingly shallow lake with two streams attached--one flowing in, and one flowing out. Not much life resides here despite its size, with suffocating algae blooms and insects being the lake's only inhabitants. Similar to the bitter stream, it has bad tasting water as well, and shouldn't be drunk from unless clean water can be separated from it.
Overgrowth Forest: A thick, dark forest just south of the bitter stream, so dense that light barely breaks through the canopy. Few cats besides the Black know how to traverse the small paths that can be taken between the climbing brambles and ivy, and most trespassers will get lost here quite quickly.
The Black Hills: Two singular hills that are darkened in color, as no grass seems to grow on them. On the taller one, a single tree is situated at the top--small, completely devoid of extra branches at all, and overall hungry looking. Only a bit of life seems to be left.
Black Bitter Stream: A stream with murky, brackish water flowing through it. The water here tastes bitter, and is most definitely unhealthy for cats to drink, should they be unable to separate clean water from it using elemental powers. It's mostly just a generic lakeside, with nothing much more of note.
Sunken Forest: A section of the Lake of Hunger that has swallowed the nearby trees and land. Some of the water is definitely shallow enough to wade through, but the soil has been rendered upturned and unstable. Mud thick enough to pull at your paws lines most of the lakebed here, and there's the ever-present threat of quicksand.
The Pale live in burrows on a set of hills, dug out by something long ago, even before the Founders came to the Plain. These burrows are spread out with a giant general group gathering area, the Face den being a small hollowed out cave across from the entrance, two holes that lead deeper into the cavern-system on either side of the Face den, and then the other dens spread around the meeting area. The suit and pip dens are across from each other near the entrance, the victor den next to the pip den, and then the nursery being next to the suit den, and the Mirror den being next to the victors' den. The nursery has a small entrance, and constantly has a guard standing outside of it. The Mirror den is an elaborate set of tunnels, with the Mirror room having a small hole at the top where the sun and moon shine through at different times of the day.
The Escape: A narrow valley between the mounds around the Pale territory that leads out of the Decks, and seems to be the only way to leave without dying mysteriously--if you can survive it. The bones and remains of previous cats trying to escape are spread through the valley, but many have been known to survive. Take the risk of escape if you truly dare.
The Pale Mounds: Differently sized mounds are scattered around the territory, all fairly evenly sloped and void of many trees, though a few are scattered around here and there. On one mound though, a single tree stands--moderately sized, though full of life. Differently colored flowers bloom on it all throughout the years, though the colors change over the seasons. All the life in the Plain seems to be gathered here.
The Darkened Caves: Throughout the territory, caves with minimal to no light are littered underneath the mounds of the Pale. They weren't made by the cats here, and it's hard to know how far down they go. Eventually, even cat eyesight isn't good enough to see through the darkness, if you go deep enough. The only truly fresh water in the Decks comes from these caves, as a few underground rivers go through them.
Echoed Tomb: A giant hole in the middle of a huge cavern, situated underneath the largest mound in the territory--the same one that holds the Tree of Death. The hole appears to be bottomless, though ridges circle the inside of it in a spiral that could let a cat climb down, should they want to.
Entrance Valley: To enter the true territory of the Pale, the entrance valley is the easiest way through. The land is completely flat between the mounds here, creating the perfect natural entrance for the territory.
Call of the Gods: A huge, abandoned humantype church. The walls are decaying and the rafters have crumbled, but it's staying together reasonably well, considering it has no maintenance. The pews are still in place, and partially shattered stained-glass windows light up the church during the night and day. There's a balcony across from where you'd enter the church, where cats could potentially climb up some stairs to reach, and look down on the entire congregation. Below that, is a podium where the Faces stand when giving their announcements, and behind that podium, is a fallen cross, lying on the ground, leaning against the back wall of the church.
Message to the Above: A small Sunday school building that's been completely emptied out, besides some old rugs and miscellaneous objects, such as a few random crosses still hung up on the walls. On the far wall of the classroom, there's 4 completely intact stained-glass windows, each with different primary colors: White, Purple, Red, and Blue.
Colorful Kingdom: A hugely vibrant plastic set built for humantype children, full of slides, climbing sets, swinging contraptions, and other such equipment. It stands out as a fun area for cats to mess around in and climb around, especially considering the horrors of their usual lives.
Forest of the Deities: The Forest of the Deities is where cats go to prove themselves in the final Trial of the Suits/Mirrors, and where the Deities seem to be the most active. A dense forest that doesn't seem to have an end, going on forever and ever... Eventually, a cat will find themself out of the forest, back where they started, without ever having turned around to go that direction.
Plain of Hope: A flat plain with almost no flora on it, dead trees filling up that spot for the most part. The sun seems to shine brightly here, and the stars always seem clearer at night in this spot.
Treefeller Nest: A mostly unused nest for humans and humantypes that chop down trees. There's huge containers here, and special buildings that they'll stay in before leaving near to the night--when there's people around, that is. Sometimes ships will come and load the containers on before taking off again...
Bridge of the Other Side: A rusty red bridge that connects the Plain of Revelation to the Other Side, an unknown territory for most cats in the Decks. Cars will cross this bridge often, and sometimes ships will travel underneath it.
The Underpassage: Under the Bridge is the Underpassage, where cats can cross underneath to get to different territories, though most outsiders will live around here--specifically if they're not the roguish and cruel type.
The Other Side: Not much is known about the Other Side besides what cats from that side have said about it. It seems to be a strange world, full of huge skyscrapers and bustling humans and humantypes...
White/Pale Border: The border between the White and Pale Decks is full of mounds, though the mounds have a good amount of trees scattered over them.
Pale/Black Border: The Pale and Black Decks border is marked by the road that crosses through the middle of the two territories. Trees fill both sides of the territories.
Black/Red Border: The Black and Red Decks border is marked by the road that travels through the territories, with both sides being covered with dense foresty areas.
Red/White Border: The border between the Red and White Decks is marked by the Underpassage and the Treefeller Nest, which falls directly into neutral territory. Otherwise, the road that connects to the bridge also blocks the two territories from touching.
The air is choking, a white light blinding you in all directions. The path ahead is nowhere to seen, and yet you're expected to find your way through. After all, it does not need eyes to Gaze at you, constantly judging your every move with a hypocritical stance.
The air burns around you, and jagged spikes of red stick up from the ground and dark ceiling. The path is straight and wide, leaving blood on your paws as you walk down. You feel a piercing Glare set upon you as you move and act, scalding you.
The air is damp, and you can't see anything around you at all. The path is slippery and narrow, but you're carried along by the hunger in your stomach and mind. Through your own hunger, you can feel something Peer at you, scouring for a meal.
The air is nonexistent, and the area around you is only stone. The path is old and worn, a clear end in sight, and you still can't breathe when you reach it. You don't even need to know where you are, and you feel it Stare at you, knowing you'd come.
This is where they all meet, a blackened spot in the middle of the place of all concepts, thoughts, minds, dreams, and worlds. They speak here, in their own little bubble of white, red, black, and pale, the colors sweltering in all directions, leaves of mist fluttering in the air as they converse, as you walk. The Calamity is here, and the Gods and Deities will find all who find themselves traversing this land.
A puddle sits in the middle of the black and colorful spot, a circle with four quadrants of Apocalypse, and it drips down onto the Plain below.
This is where everyone will end up, a shining beacon of hope in the middle of the place of all concepts, thoughts, minds, dreams, and worlds. The dead rise here when their time is over and they have no more responsibilities to the living world. The dead's bodies sparkle as they move, trailing their element behind them, their soul alight in their own eyes. They come to help the mortals below.
You're under the clouds, a star shining down upon you. Someone approaches you, but you don't know their name. You know who they are.
