TRUMPET ONE
Canaries in the Coal Mine

The White Clubs, The Red Diamonds, The Black Hearts, and The Pale Spades.
These clan-adjacent groups called Decks follow deities that go by the same names as each respective Deck, but rather than worshipping them, they fear them. They live in terror of what these deities are capable of, and are always on edge about their lives in regards to these strange entities. As of current times, the cats in these Decks are just trying to survive. Nothing bad has come to them in the form of supernatural happenings in the years they've been living here, and the Watchers from Above seem to keep any unrest or chaos at bay--at least for the time being.

However, peace doesn't last forever, and there seems to be a rise in activity recently from the supernatural beings that lurk in this land. Who knows how long it'll take for the next Trumpet to sound...?

Moons after Calandivaspade hails as the next Face of the Pale Spades after the untimely demise of the previous Face, Valerianspade, tensions grow throughout the decks as Calandivaspade begins changing things within the Pale, causing moderate in-fighting, as well as worsening the hostilities between the Pale and the Red. The Face of the Red, Volcanicdiamond, is at intense odds with Calandivaspade, thinking him to be unfit for the position of the Pale Face, even being one of the major perpteuators of the belief that Calandivaspade murdered Valerianspade. Tensions between these two decks are at an all time high, and it's unclear how long there is until war breaks out.

On the other hand, the White Face, Turnclub, is close to ending a war between the White and a group of hostile raccoons that have been trying to gain the territory of the Abandoned Nest that the White base their own territory and camp around. The war has taken a toll on the deck despite them being so close to victory, so Turnclub took steps to set up an alliance with the Face of Black, Aegisheart. The two are there to support each other, and if Turnclub needs further help that the White can't provide, the cats from the Black deck will be there to provide. However, even the Black has their own problem that they haven't brought to the attention of the other decks. A mysterious illness is catching many cats in its midst, and there doesn't seem to be a solution to the disease that the Mirrors have been able to discover juet yet...

With a war on the verge of commencing with a Face who's been accused of murder and a Face who seems to know more than he's letting on, as well as an alliance solidifying between a Face who's suffered great losses from a war and a Face who's dealing with an unknown illness, the fate of the decks seems uncertain. How will you change their fates? How will you save the decks from extinction?
