~ In-RP Mechanics ~

This server contains multiple different RP related mechanics, and this page is a description of them all. Some are used for earning special things for your characters, some are plot/story related, some are just fun things for your cats to experience, and so on. These mechanics don't need to be understood right away, and any questions can be asked if they exist, but hopefully this page does a good enough job of explaining them all!

Point System:
Within the Fun Zone is the #🌟bot-area🌟, where you'll do a daily '!work' command to earn a Point. These Points can be gained in other ways, such as through RPing in the server a ton, participating in major events, and by doing the 3 different games in the Fun Zone. These Points can be used for adding special attributes to your characters like the Bright, Flare, and Hollow elements, and being able to make characters out of the typical norm, such as Living Dead, Outsiders, and non-felines. Use the '!shop' command to see what can be bought with Points, and use '!bal' to see how many Points you have in total!

Dreams/Nightmares:
Sometimes, cats may experience dreams, or nightmares. These are sort of like ethereal adventure scenarios of some sort that may involve your cat meeting a supernatural entity, returning to the waking world as sick, or even just exploring a part of the non-mortal world that no other cat has ever seen before... These scenarios can be any of the listed mechanics below, so make sure to read what they all are to know what may happen to your cat!

Non-Interactable Scenarios:
These scenarios are just a few paragraphs of story for your cat, whether it be a dream, vision, or just something they experienced out in the world. Nothing you do can affect the scenario, but it'll never be something you can't request a change for. These are just supposed to be small, fun things that explore bits of the world and plot without actually having to do much, and you can totally do an RP with other people revolving around this scenario your cat experienced!

Choose Your Own Adventures:
These adventures are similar to the non-interactable scenarios, except you CAN interact within them! You choose what happens, typically by reacting with an emoji that denotes which choice you'd like to have happen to your cat/how you'd like them to react to the given scenario. These usually end up with your cat being given some kind of reward or punishment, but don't think of the punishments as negative! They'll be something you can add to your roleplaying experience, such as a strange wound, a horrible vision, sickness, or other such things! Nothing will permanently alter your cat UNLESS you request it to be permanent.

Supernatural Happenings:
These are typically within the Choose Your Own Adventure or Non-Interactable Scenarios, but they can also just be an occurrence during your normal roleplaying experience! You may randomly be given an invite to an RP by a mod, or a mod will suddenly appear in an RP that you're doing with another person (asking permission to do so first, of course), and drop some supernatural stuff inside of the RP! They'll usually be pretty short, since supernatural things aren't supposed to last super long or expose too many secrets early on. It's just something of a taste for the future!

NPC Arrivals:
These can sometimes, but rarely, be Non-Interactable Scenarios, and are more often just an occurrence during your normal roleplaying experience! You may randomly be given an invite to an RP by a mod, or a mod will suddenly appear in an RP that you're doing with another person (asking permission to do so first, of course), and drop a non-supernatural NPC inside of the RP! They'll typically be longer than a supernatural happening, and are more likely to happen in 1-on-1 threads with a player and mod, rather than a mod jumping into two players' thread. Hope you have fun with the exciting NPCs we've made!

Collection Quests:
These adventures are typically simple things, added into your normal roleplaying experience. In these quests, you might gather some materials that your cat can use to do specific things in the future, or just collect objects that give a benefit to your character in some way. They'll typically just be an addition to a normal roleplay rather than anything else, but you can always @ a mod to ask if you can do a collection quest of your own will, and you can then decide what your cat gets out of the adventure!

THE FUN ZONE:
The Fun Zone is a category within the server where multiple fun activities are set up that are not mandatory, but can help you achieve Points to add special things to your characters in RP, as well as just have a more unified and community feel for the server.
--#character-game is a game where you answer interesting questions in character, or potentially as yourself, depending on the question being asked.
--#crafts-game is a game where you do art, writing, or another form of creative media with a specific prompt in mind. The more effort put into it, the more points you'll earn.
--#answer-game is a game where you answer specific trivia questions, typically relating to lore in the server/story of the RP.
