HV

HV is one of the two titular characters of The HV and Dino-Weapon Show. He started his animated series on September 11, 2022 at 2:15 AM (canonical show time). He has appeared in certain video thumbnails such as the Paper.io 2 videos and in the first Silent Age video.

Appearance

HV is a gray cuboid alien with 2 black eyes (sometimes with white pupils), eyebrows, and 2 sharp fangs protruding from his mouth. He also sometimes appears with a red scar over his right eye. He has 2 wings with 3 clawed fingers at the ends of them. He also has 2 legs with feet similar to a fly's, with a single claw emerging from either side of the foot. In 3D, he has a third claw behind the other 2 to help maintain balance, although this has yet to be seen. HV has a long tail with a triangular spike on the end that serves a wide variety of purposes.

Personality

HV is usually somewhat shy but always willing to make new friends. He is also very protective and loyal to his own friends and family. When they are threatened, HV will not hesitate to put his own life at risk in order to save those he cares about. He also knows about his own near-immortality, and has accepted it as one main reason why he should protect those who can't defend themselves as he simply cannot just let things slide by and ignore them. He is also very comedic and likes to make jokes a lot, but will become very serious if the situation calls for it. However, he usually sits out being in the show itself as he has other things to attend to, and he just doesn't like being on camera for extended amounts of time. HV is also adventurous, as he goes on long journeys just because he can. He also knows how powerful he is, but humbles himself by not showing off that power to others unless absolutely necessary. Finally, he is supportive to his friends and is there if they need anything.

Powers

HV has a wide variety of powers at his disposal, and has gained many new ones throughout the years. This is a list of all of his current powers:

• Super Speed: HV can travel at a maximum speed of 1 aupzs (astronomical unit per zeptosecond), which makes him one of, if not the fastest characters in existence.

  • This translates to 1 sextillion astronomical units per second, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 AUs per second. For context, the entire universe is roughly 1,740,000,000,000 AUs from edge to edge.

• Super Strength: HV has enough strength to be able to lift the entire Pacific Ocean without breaking a sweat, as well as the strength to carry black holes for extended amounts of time.

• Black Hole Consumption: One of HV's favorite foods is black holes. He considers them a delicacy and eats them when he gets the chance. He does this by inhaling the black hole into his body and compressing it down to fit inside his stomach-like area (similar to how Kirby inhales enemies), then his body produces supernatural Toxic enzymes to speed up Hawking radiation and transfer the energy kept inside the black hole into usable energy for his body, explaining how he can go several decades without eating anything.

• Climbing Most Surfaces: HV has the ability to climb almost any surface, as long as he can grip his claws into the surface without falling. This was inspired by how a fly's feet latch onto any surface and stick to it, but HV doesn't have hairs on his feet like flies and he simply grips onto the surface and can even walk completely upside-down.

• Spectrum Vision: HV can see in infrared vision, night vision, x-ray vision, and UV vision.

• Psychokinesis: HV has the power to use magic to levitate and throw objects and people by simply using his own psychic powers.

• Elemental Mastery: Like UXW, HV can master any and every Element at will, and he gains a new form when he focuses on a specific Element. For example, if HV focuses on Water then he will become a Water Elemental, developing gills and webbed claws as well as have a near-infinite water supply inside of him that holds up to 100,000,000 gallons of water, which also makes him extremely heavy and unable to fly.

• Indestructibility: HV has been shown to be indestructible to multiple things, such as extreme heat, extreme cold at absolute zero, immune to the effects and event horizon of black holes as he can speed himself out of it before he gets crushed, and even immense falls can't hurt him.

• Size Manipulation: HV can change his size when the time calls for it, although he can only grow up to 10 times his original size before he starts collapsing in on himself from the effects of the Square-Cube Law, meaning he can grow up to be 24'2" (~7.366m) tall.

Trivia

• HV's exact species is unknown, but it is confirmed that he is an alien.

• HV has been revealed to have been the one taking on the role of the player in the cancelled World of Goo Movie.

  • It was also confirmed that he would have voiced himself.

• He is one of the characters featured on the channel banner.

  • He is shown quite prominently, even though he doesn't appear in many videos.

  • His scaling on the banner is off, as he appears to be much larger than Sans, Rx. Freddy, and Dino, but this is incorrect.

  • He is shown holding the Reddit logo on the show's subreddit banner.

• He made a cameo appearance during the Dino SMP's Season 3 run, where he was shown to be fixing the error during the premiere as the video was live.

• He appears darker in his debut video than he is in the channel banner.

  • This was fixed with the banner update on September 27, 2022.

• HV does have a Minecraft skin.

  • The arms are 3 pixels wide instead of the normal 4.

  • He also has another version specifically for colder biomes.

• HV can eat a nearly infinite amount of sweets with barely any negative consequences.

  • At most, he'd get a stomachache but that's about it.

• HV can develop gills that let him breathe underwater.

• Despite being six hundred million years younger than the Earth, he has the personality and characteristics of a young member of his species.

  • This could have some interesting implications for HV and his species.
