GENERAL HISTORY

Nefelia has been an independent nation dating all the way back to even before the official establishment of Valencia. The people there have adopted a strict no foreign affairs policy, isolating them from the rest of the world. Despite this isolation, they grew into an almost peaceful utopian society. Through years of struggle and cooperation, this kingdom was built on the shoulders of its citizens, and designed to be very self-reliant and well-rounded when it came to its economy. Fostering mining, farming, fishing, and the creation of crafted goods all in one region allowed for them to continue their isolationist policies. The people took pride in their local products and way of life, never truly desiring anything from the outside, thus foreign trade was not developed either.

After both the Elysian and Kalopsian continent developed, they both signed a treaty with Nefelia stating that they would leave the island out of foreign conflict and never invade the land. In return, Nefelia would participate in some foreign trade.

Primary Exports: Local Fabrics/Clothing, Small Trinkets, Books

Economic Conditions: Excellent, Affordable Necessities, Available Jobs

Social Conditions: Excellent, Most Middle Class, Well-Educated, Little Poverty and Crime

Nefelia is still mostly the same as it was before, but it had developed over time from a small tribal community to a large prosperous kingdom.
