GENERAL HISTORY

Azarath, primarily settled by both humans and the snake people, was and still is a sovereign kingdom. It was settled around the time that Valencia was at its prime by the locals in the area. At first it was a small town, ruled by a governor, but as their population began to increase and their economy grew, the city became a very rich kingdom. As generations passed, the kingdom began to specialize in fabric making, especially silks, and the making of extravagant clothing. They also specialize in medicinal herbs and syrups, as well as glass products.

They became big talk when they began settling outside of the central kingdom, showing off their incredible military prowess. They have several units of special forces, as well as skilled assassins. Without much struggle, they were able to take over a growing town nearby named Zemira, adding it to their empire. They control the entire desert as well as a military base named North Point. The Emperor of Valencia attempted several times to make Azarath apart of their empire, but were either denied or their military actions were shut down. After multiple failures, the two countries signed a truce, identifying as equals. The peace between them has been kept ever since.

Primary Imports: Tropical/Moderate Climate Crops, Farming Tools and Nutrient-Dense Soil, Precious Gems, Coal

Primary Exports: Fabrics, Clothing, Sandstone, Medicinal Herbs, Medicinal Syrups, Glass Products, Alcoholic Products, 

Economic Conditions: Moderate-Excellent, Affordable Housing, Slightly Less Affordable Food, 

Social Conditions: Moderate, Black Market and Moderate-High Crime, but Balanced Class System/Most in Middle Class

Azarath has not changed much since the peace treaty was signed. There is slight internal conflict between the capital city and Zemira, but independence talks are not taken very seriously on either end. In recent years they have become popular for their creation and exportation of alcoholic beverages like high quality wines and beers.
