One of the two twin princes was banished as stated in the general history. He took a navy ship and crossed the ocean to the neighboring, unexplored continent and began to to build his empire. Many of his followers came with, providing cheap labor for his pursuits. He wanted to go under the radar since another dominant kingdom on the continent, Yosefa could easily wipe them out or assimilate them. The man began to build his empire underground, within caves and in hills. He passed his dream of moving to surface onto the generations that came after him, and it wasn't until about 200 years prior when they finally came up from beneath. Karsia was established quickly and cheaply, and their military launched a full scale invasion of Yosefa, using the element of surprise to take over. Over half of the continent was now theirs, only Sydni was left. Attempts to take over Sydni failed, and a truce was signed stating that Karsia's empire and Sydni are to stay separate but cooperative. Whether this treaty will hold up in the future or not, nobody knows. The Reckoning brought hope into the hearts of Karsisans that they would attack Sydni, but the issue was resolved the rumors disappeared, for now.

THE CONTEMPORARY

Primary Exports: Fish, Lumber, Crafted Goods, Military Weapons, Ships

Economic Conditions: Excellent for Middle and Elite, Poor for Low Class, Not Much Class Improvement/Rising

Social Conditions: Moderate-Poor, Elite Class Dominate, Much Poverty, Moderate-High Theft

The previous Karsian king was overthrown by his son, a power-hungry man ready for his turn to rule. Several things changed about the kingdom since then: required military service of minimum 2 years, and the outlawing of religion. He promises his people prosperity in the years to come and is taking measures to keep that promise.
