Our History

The Ballet Studio was established by Miss Bobbi Bader in the 1980s. After her unexpected death in 2006, a group of dedicated teachers and students, through collaboration, worked to keep the studio open. In January 2025, official ownership was transferred to a long-time student of Miss Bobbi. This change in leadership ensures the continuation of a long history of professional-level, adult ballet training in the Sacramento area. The Ballet Studio remains a woman-owned business.

We have offered (and will continue to do so) other styles of dance including jazz, contemporary, and dance conditioning. Stretch and floor/barre classes continue to be offered.

Although our focus has always been on adult dancers, we will continue to offer classes for children and teens.
