Mistline and Harvory have had a long history of rising and falling tension. They hardly agreed on anything, and the little that they did agree on didn't amount to much or wager more steps to cooperation.
After countless years of disagreements and wars, the ambassador of Harvory proposed the idea of using marriage as a step to peace to Mistline. There were several arguements and debates about this offer, both in Mistline and Harvory, but they eventually found terms to agree on and enacted on it once one of the royal's children (who wasn't the crown inheritor) for both kingdoms were of age. Princess Thalia Vexous of Harvory and Prince Beyo Rocian of Mistline were married and created the kingdom of Leonidas. To grow this kingdom, both Mistline and Harvory evenly poured in resources to get it off of the ground and it quickly rose in power after several rocky months. The King and Queen often had different views on several problems, but that helped Leonidas in it's time of taking baby steps.
Unfortunately for them, this was also during a time of an unstable community at the Great Tree in the south of the continent that brought along a Dragon Keeper fairy named Orwa. She cared for five unnaturally large wyverns and sought to rid the world of all of the other races until the fairies remained. Abaddon and Aashna attempted to reach them, but arrived just short of the silver wyvern's first blow of an earth-shuddering roar as it perched on the jagged mountains protecting Leonidas's west side.
Orwa sought out to destroy the kingdom first to spark conflict between Harvory and Mistline once more, which would make them wipe each other out in the process. Although, with this first attempt, she failed in doing so with Abaddon's King Serpent guarding the entire kingdom's walls and Utsah summoning storms to interfere with the wyvern's path. King Beyo assisted the Monsebiron in ridding the dragons from the lands, and that led to him making a place for the Monsebiron to stay if they ever were to need it--- up until the fall of the parent kingdoms that caused them all to scatter from those who hunted them down for money, justice, etc.
