Students march against final exams

Christos Dimas '25 and Leonard Siegal '25, both vying for the valedictorian spot in their class, have found different ways to pursue their finals grades. Siegal determined that the best way to keep his GPA up was to travel to New York, his march (along with that of other students) in protest of finals. After the interview, he said, "Why the heck would I want to walk up Lake Shore Drive just to come back and take 8 long tests when I could just walk to New York and not need to take my finals?" Dimas, however, pursues academic achievement in the classroom as his fellow classmates take a leave of absence on their journey to Times Square.
