The Jurist’, one of India’s leading think-tanks and research-resource centre for formulating and promoting fundamental reforms in socio, political, legal spheres and in critical areas of state policy. It is established to provide free access to legal discourse and encourage legal minds to explore the contours of law. The vision is to promote diversified opinions concerning law and society and to help the legal fraternity to understand the dynamics of law from multiple perspectives. With the aid and advice of eminent jurists and individuals associated with the field of law across the nation, we aim to create a revolutionary platform for expressing opinions to further help the fraternity in understanding the implications and intricacies of the law
About the Internship
Our Internship Programme is designed to facilitate law students to hone their legal knowledge, skills and acumen acquired through their academic rigour in law school while allowing them to learn professionalism and giving them an exposure to work. As an intern, you will be involved in research and analysis, documentation and any other activities. Interns are expected to work across teams and deliver results within specified time-frames. The subject and scope of work can be immensely vast or can be really narrow. We hope you to research with the best of your capacity and do justice to the subject.

The duration is flexible; however, a minimum period of internship is four weeks.
Who can Apply?
The internship programme is open to the following:
§ Law Students (studying in 4th and 5th year of 5-year law course)
§ Law Students (studying in 2nd and 3rd year of 3-year law course)
§ Law Students pursuing LLM
§ Law Graduate
Skills Required
§ Candidates should have persuasive writing and analytical skills.
§ The candidate must have a flair for basic research, drafting and editing.
§ Interns will be expected to submit their research drafts in a specified time-frame which shall be reviewed by their assigned mentor.
§ The candidate should be efficient in working with MS Word, MS excel and Gmail.
§ The intern should be dedicated and hardworking. Any form of unprofessionalism will not be entertained.
