KITCHEN BANS CHIPS??
The school have moved to ban chips from the school menu. Whilst most other schools serve chips and wedges - why do we have to suffer?
It think as long as they are served in moderation and not every day they are not a problem. Surely the kitchen staff are capable of serving small portions to the students? None of the students we spoke to have chips when they are at home and so having them at school is a treat.
The school is now moving towards meals such as Lasagne, Turkey Steaks, Beef Pie, Veg Pasta and Fishermans pie. Although tasty, these meals offer less in terms of a treat and dont satisfy like a chip can. What can beat a chip butty with tommy sauce? I dont think the teachers could even argue with that. Ive seen some of them in the chippy on a friday night after work. How can they dictate our meals whilst eating chips themselves.
UPDATE:
No chips on the school menu but our headmaster can eat unhealthy snacks all day, any where on campus? It seems that way and we've got the scoop!
A source that wishes to remain anonymous (perhaps inspired by our very own Jack Jackal) dropped us a line to let us know that not only does Mr. Sweet eat cookies in the middle of his lessons, he also has a whole stash of goodies hidden away in his office! The contributor also speculated about Sweetie's diet at home, but in light of recent events, we have decided to omit information that we cannot prove. Our source refused to provide proof of their extracurricular knowledge.
EDIT:
The duo that first (very passionately) brought this topic to our attention earlier this school year would like us to inform you that they have nothing to do with this update. They do however agree with this new contributor and feel it corroborates their concerns.
