The homepage is a mash up of Mara's design and Joy's Jackal design.

I worked under the assumption that the bones of the website existed at the end of Season 1 because Patricia sassed Andrews about a place for "gossip and to tell the truth" and Andrews replied that she would see that it's already taken care of.

I wanted to stick to late S1 to whatever we saw in S2 but I wanted to include a few things from S3. Just because we never heard of the site again, doesn't mean it doesn't still exist.

A catch-all for all the other posters and major events we saw in the show that could possibly get a page on a school website.
Certain things link out and others do not.

Okay, so I'm the Swimming Club poster lady, I get it. Y'all got your dream ships and I got the powers that be trolling me with more and more Swimming Club posters in the hallways until it was borderline ridiculous. We're not even going to talk about that time they had Burkely slap one in a scene just to really slap me in the face. Anyway, all joking aside...I actually really love all the hallway posters. I loved them before Eddie showed up, we found out Burkely competitively swam and the rampant Swimming Club poster was a thing. They weren't professional or crisp, they weren't neatly hung, in some cases they were even hand drawn. They were there all the time and made the place feel really lived in and real.

I recreated every poster with a website that has stock graphics. I took screenshots every time there were posters in the background of a shot. Many of them required multiple angles to get the text right. They are not exact replicas because I honestly just didn't want to take the time to draw them but I tried to match them as close as I could to get their vibe. I did not add or remove any text, they say what they're supposed to say and they're ordered with the seasons they're from. If there's a poster, there's canonically a team so I put them all on the sports page and just linked out to the stuff we actually saw.

  • Pushing the Swimming Club posters only showed up when Eddie (who's actor was a competitive swimmer!!) showed up agenda. I only just realized when making the posters that Season 1 had a girls swimming poster.

I was really torn on this page. On one hand, I wanted to stick to strictly the media we saw them watch or create in the show. But on the other hand, the Join Our School Promo video is maybe the funniest thing Nickelodeon actually did for the show so I had to include that as if it was a video that was made by the students. Since I went that route, more media was fair game to include.

  • This is not the actual movie from Season 2, I'm pretty sure what Jasper was referring to IRL is a documentary series on Amazon...the name and date check out. (Yes, they did look up stuff just for "props", right down to name meanings, websites, and articles...) I couldn't find the doc for free or free with ads to link so this will do the job enough.

  • It took me so long to actually track down the Anubis House promo video and the only reason I found it was that I knew that the uploader has always had so many good classics on their channel, check them out!

Decided to go for Website Staff here instead of teaching staff. They thought they were really doing something with their exposes and their deadlines. They 100% thought they deserved their own page to let everyone in school know who was boss.

The contributors were at the meeting where Joy volunteered to be editor. There are several canon articles on the website about lower years so I'm going to assume all these kids are younger than them and they wouldn't put their names on the site anyway (because seniority). Saved me from making up names for them.

Thought about leaving this as a dead link. But then I found Mr. Jones on the tennis poster and Mr. Cooper in one of the canon articles from the site. I assigned Math to Jones (because the other big departments were covered and they have to have math) but Cooper actually teaches Geography, per the canon article.

In season 3 we finally saw art class but were not given a name for the teacher. I did the ol' "not present" trick of putting the logo in for the teachers we never saw to save myself from having to pick randos. The logo (and other posters and graphic designs) was created by Sarah Anderton, so I gave the art teacher that name so it wouldn't be the only one without a name.

• Any time there was a lesson, an assignment, or a white board with school work on it, I added it to the slideshow. The art curriculum was mostly based on the assignments we saw in the hallways and/or Alfie's artwork we saw him create.

The blogs listed on the side are the blogs we can see linked whenever any of them access the page.

  • This is word for word exactly how Joy wrote this, right down to the spelling mistakes. Well, maybe mistakes...do we think Joy was shady enough to slip in "ho" for "who" just because she was writing about Nina? I think it's funnier that way.

• Sweetie Moves

  • Word for word exactly as written. I feel like it's pretty obvious Eddie wrote this one for obvious reasons (but see Farm Field Trip and Kitchen Bans Chips). He wasn't at the trial so he really didn't get to see Sweetie's face. I added the update with the picture.

• Donkey Diner

  • No canon article. Since it was so high on the list and I was getting tired of bumping stuff just for updates, I decided it would be funny if Mara had asked Eddie to write about the challenge since he had pictures. Imagine that was the piece she was begging him to submit and when he does it's way late and it's just....that. lol

• Bake off / Face off

  • No canon article. I wanted this to be a funny site call back to Kitchen Bans Chips (canon article). When you read that it sounds so much like Alfie and Jerome complaining about cafeteria food. I love the idea that Alfie tried every week to get a food article up but Mara kept finding an excuse not to publish it but as soon as Jack Jackal put up a "Write for us" link he got his time to shine.

• Football much?

  • No canon article. Poppy was creeping around outside and found Patricia's amulet. She takes and keeps pictures of Jerome on her phone. Poppy submitted relationship gossip to Jack Jackal.

• What's next?

  • No canon article. Decided it was just a quick note to let the readers know that they're moving in a different direction.

• Nah nah nah

  • There's no way that Patricia is going to keep her mouth shut about anything. Indirecting Andrews and the teachers...yup. Going off about deadlines when they're an online website and there is no deadlines. Yacking about Eddie, oh you know it.

  • Canon article on the original website version. I used the read more to add updates. Could you imagine Patricia and Eddie (we already saw what he'd do) having unrestricted access to school site without Mara to keep them in check. Flirting on main, ew.
