In quite possibly one of the most epic food showdowns in school history, two rich, moist, and delicious chocolate cake recipes went head to head at the Frobisher Library Exhibit grand opening event with only one winner to be crowned.  It was Trudy vs. Vera, winner takes all.

Trudy's cake is always legendary! Her entry was made with love and tasted just like every birthday we've ever celebrated. You can't go wrong with Trudy's cooking, ever. She was going to be hard to beat, almost impossible! Except...

Vera's cake was pure perfection. There was no piece of frosting out of place. Ingredients were precisely measured down to a science. She should really consider selling them professionally.

We were the real winners for getting to taste both cakes, but in the end Vera got the W.
