Route Description
Entering the state on the Bi-State Vietnam Gold Star Bridges, this follows the US 41 roadbed, used from Tennessee. It follows the eastbound exit pair of the stack, directional four way interchange hybrid known as the Robert Orr. Interchange. (SIU 4) It follows former I-165 and follows a newly finished route north to SR 37, where it follows that to I-465. (SIU 3) It winds it's way between subdivisions and industrial buildings. Then it joins I-70 and 74 and follows the J shaped Central Freeway and I-65 joins and 74 leaves at a directional T interchange. I-65 and 70 leave in a stack interchange, and on the Binford Expressway it travels north first in a tunnel, then along an abandoned railway to Binford Boulevard, which will be slightly sunken to I-465. (SIU 2) Then I-69 follows it's old alignment north out of the state, through Fort Wayne. (SIU 1)
