Code of Conduct

By the order of His Holy Inquisition what follows are a few points of Player's Code of Conduct

  • The main aim of these rules is to make for a fun and safe gaming environment and to maximize players' enjoyment of the games

  1. Have fun and make sure your opponent does too

    • If you can't agree with your opponent about rules, contact a 3rd player

    • If you can't agree about measurement / visibility, roll a d6

  2. Dice Rolling

    • Only dice in the designated area count

    • All cocked dice must be rerolled.

      • Cocked die is any die that does not completely lie on the surface (any deviation from 0° results in a cocked die)

  3. Take-backs

    • We all forget about some of the myriad rules from time to time. This is not a tournament and so players should have some options for take-backs.

    • What is ok?

      • If nothing happened that affected the decision in question then it is always OK.

        • Example 1: You move unit A, than move unit B. Then you remembered/realized you are just an inch out of range with A despite them having more than enough movement to make that inch => move unit A.

        • Example 2: You finish your movement phase and proceed to pick targets for shooting with unit A. Before you roll any die you realize you skipped your psychic phase => go back to your psychic phase.

        • Example 3: As with 2 but you actually shoot with the unit. If you do not do it too often and your psychic wouldn't affect the situation too much, you should be allowed to go back.

      • Something happened, but the oversight is obvious and clear => it is ok in case is does not happen more than once or twice.

        • Example 1: You declare a charge with unit A and proceed to the fight phase where you attack and resolve your attacks. Then you realize your warlord is left standing three inches in front of the enemy fire line. => You should be allowed to make the charge because not doing that would resolve in a really big feel-bad moment and it was clear you meant to charge.

    • What is not ok?

      • Taking an action back because of its result.

      • Going back so far some rolls would have to be annuled.
