Day 9

Today is a relaxing day. The children completed a self-introduction in Chinese and English yesterday and a short video greeting our youth. Yesterday, we finished all the testimonies. This morning, the children went home for the New Year one after another. Everyone gave us a carefully crafted Christmas card before going home. 15 children made 41 cards to our CCICTV Youth. We hope the children on both sides can communicate with each other for a long time and grow up together in the Lord!

The short-term mission team also had a rare opportunity to visit the Elephant Park. The elephant is a symbol of Thailand and has a close relationship with Thailand's religious history and culture. Elephant training is a must-see event in Thailand. Because most of the elephant trainers came from the Karen people, sister Iris' evangelical work for the Karen people was carried out among the elephant trainers.

At noon, we invited Elder Li and Iris to lunch. We thank God for letting us work together for more than a week. Iris and her husband accompanied us along the way and took good care of the whole team. Elder Li and Wei Ling came back to visit us at night. The elders' concern also moved us.

Our briefing is over today. We are leaving Chiang Mai tomorrow. In the evening, we visited the night market in Chiang Mai with Iris, her husband, Phobe, and Stella, who did not return home. The children have established a deep friendship, and they are a little bit reluctant about parting ways. This briefing was a special experience for Alina and April. We hope this helped their long term spiritual growth.

Goodbye, Chiang Mai! Goodbye, lovely kids in House of Grace! No matter how far apart we are, we are always one family in the Lord!

今天是轻松的一天。孩子们昨天完成了中英文的自我介绍和问候三谷青少年的短片。昨天短宣队完成了分享。今天早上孩子们陆续回家过新年。在回家前，大家都把精心制作的圣诞卡片交给了我们。15个孩子做了41张卡片给我们CCICTV的Youth。希望两边的孩子们以后能够长期互相交流，在主里一起成长！

短宣队今天也有了难得的机会参观象园。大象是泰国的象征，与泰国的宗教历史文化都有密切关系。训象表演几乎是来泰国必看的项目。因为训象师大部分来自克伦族，爱梅姐妹对克伦族的福音工作一度在训象师中展开。

中午短宣队请李长老夫妇及Iris夫妇共进午餐。感谢神让我们在一个多礼拜中一起同工。Iris夫妇在这期间一路陪伴，对短宣队照顾的十分周到。李长老与玮玲姐晚上又回来看望我们。长辈的关心也让我们十分感动。

我们这次短宣今天结束。 明天我们就要离开清迈了。晚上与Iris夫妇及两个没回家的孩子逛了逛了清迈的夜市。孩子们已建立起深深的友谊，马上要分别，也有点依依不舍。这次短宣对Alina与April 是难得的经历。也希望对她们的灵命成长有长远的帮助。
