Day 6

Today, Elder Li and Wei Ling brought breakfast for us early in the morning. Elder Li also brought some simple Thai pamphlets for our first Thai lesson. These few Thai words allow us to understand some Thai culture, and can be used to communicate with the students.

In the morning, Iris brought us to visit the traditional market nearby. We experienced the living conditions of ethnic minorities in northern Thailand at a close distance. Handicrafts, Thai massage and labor export are the economic sources of many families in northern Thailand.

After the students came back in the afternoon, we had a chance to communicate again. After dinner, Tian Bing shared about his spiritual growth process and career. The children were interested and asked many questions. In the following Chinese and English lessons, the children were full of ideas and were willing to share their dreams. Four of the younger children recorded a short self-introduction to greet the CCICTV youth in Chinese and English.

In just a few days, Alina and April can communicate with the students here. We have also seen some improvements in Chinese and English for the students.

今天李长老与玮玲姐一大早带了早餐来看我们。李长老特意带来一些简易泰文的小册子，为我们上了第一堂泰文课。这几句泰文让我们了解了一些泰国的文化，更可以马上用来与孩子们交流，拉近了与孩子们的距离。

上午Iris带短宣队一行参观了附近的传统市场。可以近距离感受泰北各少数民族的生活状态。手工艺品，泰式按摩及劳务输出是泰北许多家庭的经济来源。

下午孩子回来后我们又有机会交流。晚饭后天兵分享了自己的灵命成长过程及职业生涯。孩子们很感兴趣，问了许多问题。接下来的中英文课，孩子们意犹未尽，都很愿意分享自己的梦想。四个较小的孩子录制了自我介绍的短片，用中英文问候三谷教会的青少年。

感谢神，短短几天，Alina和April可以与这里的孩子们打成一片。我们也看到孩子们中英文的一些进步。
