Fidelity Advisor 401(k)
The Fidelity Advisor 401(k) is flexible enough to meet the needs of all plans sizes, large or small.
Adaptable plan design offers your small business clients greater choice by requiring no proprietary fund obligations. There are more than 1,100 I-share mutual funds from more than 40 fund families.5
The 401(k) product includes an optional targeted education program, measurement tools, and outstanding service to help participants save and prepare for retirement.
Third Party Administrator (TPA) Referral Network
The TPA Referral Network complements Fidelity's proprietary retirement plan options. The Network includes many TPAs who support numerous retirement plan solutions. TGA Capital Management & Fidelity resources help you search and partner with TPAs to service your plan.
SEP-IRA
The SEP-IRA is targeted to self-employed individuals, small business owners and independent contractors.
Contributions to employee accounts are made solely by and at the discretion of the employer. The contribution limits are higher and there are fewer administrative requirements than some other plan types.
SIMPLE-IRA
The SIMPLE-IRA is designed for business owners who want to provide employees with retirement savings through payroll deduction. It is targeted to small business owners who have 100 or fewer eligible employees, and who do not currently maintain any other retirement plan.
Self-Employed 401(k)
The Self-Employed 401(k) is for small business owners with no employees other than a spouse.
Depending on circumstances, the plan may substantially reduce your small business clients' current income taxes because they can generally deduct the entire amount of their plan contributions from their taxable income each year.
If their business is unincorporated, they can deduct contributions for themselves from their personal incomes. If their business is incorporated, they can generally deduct contributions as a business expense.
Administrative responsibilities include annual filing of IRA Form 5500.
Non-Fidelity Prototype Retirement Plan
A non-prototype retirement account is generally used by business owners and trustees who need a brokerage account as the investment vehicle for a customized retirement plan or a plan based on another provider's prototype plan document. The plan administrator or trustee(s) are responsible for record keeping and tax reporting services.
As with the other plan solutions, the non-prototype offers a wide range of investment options, including funds with low minimums so that plan assets can be invested immediately.
