College Dance Event 2016

MUST REGISTER: Free to paid members (Membership is $5); $8 non-members

The Austin area TFDE fall event is taking place in Round Rock on Wednesday, November 16. Round Rock ISD dance students will have the wonderful opportunity to view college dance performance companies followed by Q&A. After the event, we will be hosting a college dance fair with additional college dance companies in attendance. Later that evening we will be having a master class with the Executive Director of ARCOS Dance. Erica Gionfriddo, the Executive Director of ARCOS Dance and part of the dance faculty at UT, brings a breadth of movement skill and expression to her creative work and dance teaching that includes the ballet and contemporary movement forms. She oversees the final choreographic projects that the UT students develop in their last semester of their creative sequence. She has also created new work for the students as part of the Dance Repertory Theatre and engages some of the UT dancers in her professional company, ARCOS Dance.
