UT's Psychological and Educational Assessment Center offers ADHD/LD assessments to UT students for $110. This fee covers the cost of the assessment materials, and is drastically lower than community provider costs. The facility is a training clinic and reports take approximately 4 weeks to complete after testing is scheduled.
UT Services for Students with Disabilities offers limited funding for testing services to students based on financial need. SSD-funded testing is provided by a more experienced trainee, and there is a shorter wait for scheduling and feedback (about 1-2 weeks).
UT Students: If you are seeking academic accommodations through Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD), and have a financial-based need, you can apply for funding that may help offset the costs of the psychoeducational testing. To apply for funding, visit SSD (in the Student Services Building, Room 4.206) during their walk-in hours (M-F, 9am-4pm) to talk to a coordinator and determine if you are eligible.
If UT's Psychological and Educational Assessment Center is not the best option for you, the Center provides links at the above link as alternative/additional resources.
