Wonder Woman

Artists are an important part of society, pointing out the wrongs and hypocrisies of the world and showing the society a mirror to itself. While plenty artists rightly show the negative and horror of the world, there are many artist who also want to show the good, to show that there is hope and love in the world. I like to consider myself the latter, I prefer the better and happier art pieces that can make someone smile or feel seen.

For Pride Month, June 2023, I wanted to show love and representation for those in the queer community, while not queer myself, I support those who identify and love whatever they want. While not my personal character, I understand that a portion of people see Detective Comics (DC Comics) Wonder Woman as a queer icon. Therefore I wanted to illustrate her deflecting the hate of society and protecting her fellow LGBTQ+.
