Reversed Mermaid

I often follow artistic trends on social media, not only do they give me an artistic challenge, but they are enjoyed by the community and allows them to find new artist they might not have seen otherwise.

This art piece was made during the MerMay challenge of 2023, in which artists are challenged to draw a themed mermaid each and everyday for the month of May. 

For the 12th day, I challenged myself with an unusual theme, 'reverse' I used the theme to flip the lid on the concept of a mermaid. having the upper body of the mermaid being the fish and the lower portion being the human.
