ASSESSMENT

During the whole project different tyes of assessment will be applyed in order to assess the improvement of the students and to check wether the project is going on the right track or not. All the assessment activities will help students to see in which point of the project are and to be aware of their own learning.

In this section we will develop the assessment for each activity so as to facilitate its comprehension.


Activity 1:

• Peer assessment: Students will leave a comment on the blog post for the student’s poster. The teacher will give them a rubric to use as a guideline.

• Teacher assessment: Teachers will assess the poster for it’s creativity, language use and completion


Activity 2:

• Peer assessment: Students correct each other's use of vocabulary and give positive feedback regarding their powtoon video.

• Teacher assessment: Teachers will assess whether all the vocabulary worked at class is included in videos


Activity 3:

• Peer assessment: Students will assess each other by saying if the tutorial was easy to followed or not. They fill fill in a rubric given by the teacher. This rubric will include originality, use of vocabulary, whether the video is clear or not...


Activity 4:

• Teacher assessment: The teacher will assess students on their language use and use of vocabulary in their directions and explanations.


Activity 5:

• Peer assessment: Students will leave a comment on the blog post for the student’s video. The teacher will give them a rubric to use as a guideline.

• Teacher assessment: the teacher will evaluate this activity using a rubric. We regard this activity as a compilation of the content of the whole project, therefore it is considered to be their “final exam”.


Activity 6:

• Self-assessment: students will reflect on what they are learning and write down their impressions.

• Teacher assessment: teacher will assess completion as the diary is very subjective.
