Learning diaries

Students will write a personal learning diary which will only be shared with the teacher. In such diary they will:

- Reflect their thoughts and experiences

- Explain what they have learnt

- Assess their own knowledge

- Put intp words their feelings and doubts

- Write down their expectations

For us as teachers this will be great to see what our students think of the project and later on shape and reshape or productions so as to improve them and adapt them to our students. We cannot forget the fact that we are working for students and somehow we have to please them and create activities that will make the most out of their knowledge.

Given the fcat that technology is present throughout the whole project we could consider the learning diary as a great opportunity to have students write on paper. Technology is important but we should not leave behind other types of learning. However, if desired, the learning diary could be written on Google docs and shared with the teacher through such application.

Objectives for this activity:

• Be conscious about their own learning.

• Recognize the main knowledge they have acquired during the whole project
