Prezi can be used with different types of platforms. They can all be integrated to work seamlessly for educational purposes without logging out of one platform to use another.
Prezi uses three different platforms to keep the students engaged in learning: Prezi Video, Prezi Design, and Prezi Present.
Prezi is designed to be engaging and interactive. The students can answer questions in real time from anywhere.
There are features in which teachers and students can add already premade work to their presentations to make it "come to life."
There are free on demand videos on the Prezi website and also on YouTube that any teacher can watch to gain valuable knowledge. These videos can also be used for student learning as well.
Stated as a platform that can be used from kindergarten all the way through higher education.
All of the same concepts and designs that come with all three Prezi platforms can be used on different mediums. For example, with all the content that you can add to a Prezi video, you can also add the same content to a Google video.
While the platform states that their programs can be used in kindergarten, I would suggest otherwise. Kindergarten students are not yet capable of creating content that can zoom in and out and add detailed graphs. This platform should be explored with older elementary students (such as 5th grade and higher)to be used with projects and not with the younger students (K to 4th). This platform can be explored with teachers within those grades, but not used with the students necessarily.
Depending on the grade level, the students can only be engaged for so long with screen time. Explore how long you want your students to sit and I suggest to not use any videos longer than that timeframe. For example, if students can sit for about 10 minutes, do not create a video that is 20 minutes long.
