Multimedia
Whether creating your own audio or finding resources to use the the web, you can have a lot of fun showing what you know with multimedia tools.
Audio Books
My fifth graders enjoyed creating audio books for the their former elementary school teachers. QR codes were created and taped into their respective books so younger students could scan the codes to hear the story as they flipped the pages.
Movie Making
These fourth graders had so much fun making a video to show what they learned about the weather. It is amazing what you can do when you mash up some apps and throw in a green screen option.
Story Books
Students recorded narrations to go along with their own stories.
Audio files are not available.
Fourth graders had fun learning this tool the year before when recording the daily morning announcements. I think that is why they gravitated to this extra activity.
My daughter often helped to create examples for me to share with students and staff. Check out this awesome video for making Peruvian Energy Balls. It was both for our upcoming service trip to Peru and for our World Language teachers to see the possibilities.
