Remember Colorforms? I used to have so much fun with them. These aren't vinyl images but digital ones in the form of png files. Use the Google Slide to the right to access my png files. These transparent files can easily be copied and pasted into your own comic, stop motion, or whatever creation you choose. Got a new idea, please share them with me here. Alternatively, students can print, then cut out their props to lay them over printed backgrounds or drawings to create their comic scenes. However they choose to share, if they use someone else's creative work, they should cite the sources!
Some of my favorite sites for png files are posted below. NOTE: I am not responsible for the content generated from advertisements on these sites.

Like the hunters, we gathered some background images. The ones on the left include links to their respective pages. The ones to the right are my own from some EPIC adventures. Open either file to view some backgrounds. You can find the link to each image in the notes section of the Slide. Use the Explore tool to find an image of your own choosing that includes a hyperlink. Either way, don't forget to cite your sources should you opt to use them.

Below are the png files that I have created for this project. Open the file to access the images. Simply, copy and paste onto the appropriate background or print, cut and use like Colorforms with pictures or drawings. Then take a picture or each frame for your comic. Insert all of your pictures into into your digital comic template file. Don't forget to crop each to fit its respective shape. Stop back to see new themes.
Below are some video shorts to help you with the tools you need. Don't see what you need, email Ms. Kaplan and tell me what tool you need help with. I'd love to add more video shorts to help you with your work.
