An Alternate Universe Side Trip

Opening May 12th 2005 at Disney MGM Studios, Meet Mickey! was Disney's first attraction to show off their virtual puppeteering technology. Off of Sunset Boulevard, a new (fake) hotel based on the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel has opened where Mickey will check you in for a stay. Mickey serves as a bellhop and answers any questions that guests may have about himself or the hotel itself. Mickey's friends occasionally stop by to join in the fun!
This attraction was later duplicated at Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland on their Main Streets and at Tokyo Disneyland in the American Waterfront area.
