Our whole team woke up bright and early to go to North Brunswick HS where we were dropped off and headed to our pit area to unpack our robot and tools. We had one last chance to finish and fix some minor discrepancies. After that was done we were able to view and ask questions about robots created by other teams. Soon we went to our first match, where our team of robots competed to shoot cargo into the scoring hubs and gain points. Unfortunately, our robot’s shooter malfunctioned so we decided to provide defense for our team. After each round, we would check our robot to see if there was anything we had to do such as changing the battery to ensure that our robot is functioning properly or replacing some parts. Overall, this was a fun experience as we got to compete with students from other schools and we were happy that we are able to do this again in future tournaments.
