Community Service

Team 3616 is dedicated to helping out our community!

FRC Team 3616 Phenomena’s Brand is quite well known around the state of Louisiana and among the FIRST community. We take pride in exhibiting “Gracious Professionalism” at all times. For this reason, our team is constantly being asked to come out in the community to share our expertise in the form of Presentations, Teaching opportunities, and exhibitions.

Louisiana currently suffers from an economic downturn and mass exodus due to the oil industry and low education levels. In an effort to combat the above stated issues Team 3616 Phenomena is happy to step in and spread Robotics/STEM awareness and planting the seeds that will hopefully lead to less dependence on oil and gas. We hope that in the long run we can create a ripple effect that allows our young people more opportunities to obtain a higher level of education and more diversified employment avenues that can keep them here in Louisiana
