Goals & Benefits of Mentoring - Make A Lasting Difference

Mentoring with a FIRST Robotics Team develops the future workforce and unlocks opportunity for many students. It helps to engage students with professionals in a meaningful way. Mentoring helps to connect students to employment, transforming communities, and building a brighter tomorrow. Project-based, hands-on FIRST programs introduce students to engineering and coding in an engaging and creative after-school environment where students work collaboratively to solve an annual robotics challenge centered around a yearly theme. This program is boosted by a million-strong global community of students, mentors, educators, sponsors, and alumni in over 100 countries. This program is designed to inspire innovation and help young people build a better future.

Your help is needed through mentorship. Any skills are welcomed (programming, mechanical, electrical, fabrication, design, media, business, or STEM outreach opportunities).
