On June 1st, 2021, nine universities in Taiwan and ten universities in the US signed Taiwan Huayu BEST Program to establish language education partnerships. The partnership between TCNJ and Tamkang university corresponds one of them.
Thanks to this program, since summer 2022, up to 15 TCNJ students per year have had the opportunity to study abroad at Tamkang University in Taiwan. We had three students participating in it during the same year.

The majority of population is Han ethnic. Taiwan consist of mainlanders, islanders and aboriginal Taiwanese. The main religions in Taiwan are Buddhism and Daoism, other religions include Christianity and Islam…etc. Taiwan is regarded as a place of high tolerance for different ethnic groups and religion.
Climate:
Taiwan's climate is subtropical. The temperatures are around 28-35 °C (82℉-95℉) in spring and summer; in autumn and winter, the temperatures are around 10-25 °C (50℉-77℉). It rains often in Taiwan, having an umbrella with you all the time is suggested.
