Week 10:
Worked on fixing some audio issues including the volume slider and did a decent portion of the sell. Reordered, reworded, and added a good chunk of the GDD. Organized getting other documentations for the gold package.
Week 9:
Worked on including some audio (footsteps, ambient), volume slider, the usual scrum and did a decent portion of the sell.
Week 8:
Added in some of the story elements throughout the dungeons. Worked in progress on implementing the punching limb functionality. Did the usual documentation/presentation work on top of the sell this week.
Week 7:
Besides the usual documentation and presentation work, I expanded the tutorial to include the usage of the hook to steal limbs and using said limb to complete the tutorial. I also work on squashing some of the previously identified bugs through playtest.
Week 6:
Originally I was going to work on improving and expanding the existing tutorial levels but COVID had other plans for me. Instead, Adam took over that responsibility while I was getting hit with the symptoms hard. Besides attending the meetings, updating the site, and helping get playtesters, I wasn't able to accomplish much this week.
Week 5:
Part of my work this week involved working in the engine. I built two small levels with UI to help teach the player the very basic controls and the gameplay of entering a well, traversing the dungeon to grab a key, then exit the well and door with said key. Besides this, I've made some improvements to the Gantt chart and asset sheet so theres drop down and more specific color code. Then theres the usual documentation work which mainly included creating the scrum presentation and updating the team site.
Week 4:
I participated in all the team meetings, organized the finalized goals, and created task list for next week. I updated the Gantt chart with a key for the percentage and populated Trello to reflect these tasks and internal deadlines with people assigned on both. I also modified and updated our team site to welcome users to playtest our newest version, provided controls and overall objective, and modified some of the survey. I updated parts of the GDD mainly the core gameplay, game assets section, added links asset repo and asset list, and added a getting started section for new members. I also tried my hand at concept art creation for an ability-less enemy. I ended the week with creating the scrum presentation.
Week 3:
I participated in all the team meetings, updated GDD and the Gantt chart, discussed and worked on the scrum presentation, play tested, and got play test results from others outside of the class.
Week 2:
This week, I participated in all the meetings, the GDD draft, set up the Gantt chart, worked on the scrum and sell presentation.
Week 1:
For the first week, I participated in all 3 meetings, the 1-pager, worked on the 5 pager pre-GDD, and put together some of the mini sell presentation.
