Feedback from the 24-25 STEM Committee emphasized the importance of providing a new teacher STEM orientation to ensure incoming staff are immersed in the school's STEM culture. This orientation aimed to equip new teachers with the knowledge and strategies connected to the school's overarching STEM PBL focus, supporting their success in implementing STEM practices effectively within their classrooms.
Kayla Jackson provided professional development for TES staff on effective Clear Touch integration, demonstrating key functions and instructional applications to enhance classroom teaching and learning.
5/27/25 - All TES teachers participated in a school-wide PL focused on PBL. During the training, teachers collaborated by grade level to design and refine PBL units for the upcoming school year. This exemplifies TES's commitment to equipping teachers with ongoing STEM-specific strategies that support systemic, school-wide implementation.
