Kan Takeuchi is an associate professor in economics at Hitotsubashi University. He works on experimental economics and his research is currently on eye-tracking and time preference. Takeuchi has earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan. Before joining Hitotsubashi, Takeuchi was a postdoctoral scholar at California Institute of Technology  He is a father of a son and a daughter.
