Our students played the Japanese drama called ‘Nezumi no Hanayome (The rat bride)’. This is the story of a rat father looking for a groom for his daughter. It was difficult to perform because the number of people was limited. However, we all came up with ideas and created a great drama. Everyone practised a lot. Then, they got the 3rd award. They prepared well and performed well.

Fourth place: The Japanese Presentation

Our students presented Chiangmai local food called ‘Jin Nao’ which is a fermented beef. In the past, people used cow to transport goods over great distances. However, during long journeys, sometimes accidents occurred and the cow died. Unfortunately, when an accident happened and the cow died, the owner of the cow would take the meat home with him. During the return journey, the cow's meat was fermented. People started cooking this fermented meat to eat. It has a very strong smell, but is said to be tasty. My students introduced this food with humour and fun.
