About me

My name is Takaaki Tanaka. I was born in Hyogo province, Japan in 1976. I studied in the science and mathematics course of the Ono high school in Hyogo. Since I was little, I had had interested in science and physics. My favorite scientist was Einstein. Therefore, I majored in Physics at Kobe University in Hyogo, Japan.  After I got a bachelor’s degree of physics in 2000, I decided to pursue physics more.  Therefore, I studied on the spin structure with NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) at the Graduate School of Science and Technology, and Faculty of Science, Kobe University. 

After I got a master’s degree of physics in 2002, I started working as an electric engineer at Mitsubishi Electric company. I designed the part of the system of CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) for the mobile phone system. And I also designed the optical internet system too.

In 2007, I went to Australia to study English at Bible College of Western Australia. One of the teachers there had a project in Konken, Thailand. The project was helping the orphans, and the people affected by leprosy. This teacher invited me to serve those people in Konken. Therefore, I went to Konken to serve as a Christian missionary.

During working as a missionary for the orphans and people affected by leprosy, I decided to study bible to take care of people’s hearts. Then, I came to Chiangmai to study Master of Divinity in English program (M. Div) at the McGilvary College Payap University.

After I finished the Master of Divinity in English program, I started teaching Japanese to Thai students at Christian school in Chiangmai. Now, I’m teaching Japanese to K7 to K12 students, and am also taking care of their hearts too at Chiangmai Christian School in Chiangmai.
